A condescending moment, an obsequious behavior or an exploitation of power?

Please see the pics uploaded by someone at this link: -

These pics are of Tamil Nadu chief minister Ms. Jayalalitha and some local MLA's. Checking those I am still perplexed about the situation. Well is it a condescending moment, an obsequious behavior or an exploitation of power. We all know what it is and hence probably it is motley of all of above. For us this is actually a cheap scenario and is probably hard to accept the fact, but in any case this happens only in
India. I was actually in awe checking these pics but then this is prevailing everywhere in India. Reverence is given to an individual because of his clout rather to his deeds, his persona … In here this is totally crap and I don’t even think there is any scope of improvement also… No doubt we have come a long way since Independence. The standard of living has risen, there are technological advancements, the country is striving to achieve economic stability. We are a developing nation which is empowered to frame its foreign and national policies keeping in mind the interests of its people but still, people in here, think low…

Well just thought I will blog this…

Woow I nice blog but as country India still lacks political will to fight corruption. Our neighbour china is almost a decade ahead of us in terms of infrastructure.Forgive my pessimistic view, but even though India has made its mark in IT and BPO …..Other South Asian economies will start breathing down our neck. As a nation we need to open our sectors in a phased manner …we need to promote AGRI-Business as there is a huge opportunity there. There are still many problems being faced by India , our GDP still largely depends on monsoon. This has to change. In south ppl are fighting over water, where we can use desalination techniques to provide 1 liter of Mineral water for 10 paise. Our FM has declared 1000 crore to start a desalination plant in Chennai in last budget. Where is that money? It should not take so much time for such a crucial fund to travel through our beauraucratic layers.

yes apu iam in consent with your comment...about the desalination tech..i heard the plant will be in operation from this year..let see that would be India's first indigenously designed desalination plant..The plant will have a capacity to produce 100,000 litres of water per day..thats awesome if its actually implemented at grass root level..too cool
